What is SeaMoss?

In the Caribbean--particularly around Saint Lucia where our product is sourced--sea moss commonly refers to varieties like Gracilaria that are harvested from warm Atlantic waters, sun-dried, and prepared into gel or other forms used in traditional diets and tonics; these practices have been passed down through generations and reflect the region’s long history with this natural resource. Historically, related seaweeds such as Chondrus crispus — often called Irish moss — were used in Europe, especially in Ireland, for food thickening and nourishment during hardship, and later adopted into beverages and folk remedies. Today, sea moss is gaining global popularity as a wellness supplement, blending its traditional use with modern interest in natural, nutrient-rich foods.
How do I take it?
Before consuming the SeaMoss gel, It is recommended to begin by cleansing your digestive system, which can be done using a high-quality herbal detox tea of your choice. Once this process is complete, start each day by consuming up to four tablespoons of the product. Allow at least two hours before eating your first meal to help ensure optimal effectiveness and proper nutrient absorption. Moving forward, maintain a healthy, balanced diet. Fried foods, starches, and excessive sugars should be limited or avoided; if consumed, they should be enjoyed in moderation and in smaller portions.

This question arises frequently.
